After lunch Forms I – III gathered to hear the details of the ‘House Fashion Challenge’. Each group was given a box of materials and had an hour to come up with an exciting fashion design which they had to make. Everybody worked very hard and there was a great deal of laughter. After much deliberation, chocolate prizes were awarded jointly to Austen and Seacole for their original designs. Older girls revised for their upcoming examinations in the quiet rooms provided and also got the chance to go to Ascot or Windsor if they wished. At 4.30pm we all celebrated the school’s birthday by attending a White Chapel service. Then Form III boarded a coach to head for a very successful barbecue and games at Radley.

On Sunday Forms I to IV headed for a wonderful stroll along the seafront between Hove and Brighton along with a picnic on the beach and a visit to the famous Brighton Pier and The Lanes. Everybody had a great day! Again older girls were working away quietly in school in preparation for exams and then some opted for a refreshing swim in the pool before supper.
