Heathfield is a vibrant, busy and inclusive community where girls thrive. They are inspired to work hard, be kind and discover their own path.
I am extremely proud to be the Head of this outstanding School. First founded in London in 1882, Heathfield today continues to thrive in the beautiful environs of Ascot, just 50 minutes from London. An enriching combination of contemporary education and tradition, the Heathfield values of authenticity, commitment to the community and personal application enable all girls to recognise and celebrate their individuality and social responsibility. When young people feel valued and happy, are appropriately challenged and supported, and when they are enjoying school, they will flourish.
With the newly completed Cadogan Sixth Form Centre, I feel privileged to lead a school where commitment to continuous improvement and innovation is so strong, both in and out of the classroom.
Whilst our small class sizes ensure all pupils receive engaging teaching and individual attention, our teaching and learning doesn’t just take place in the classroom. Girls here discover they have talents in areas previously unexplored. Our wide and diverse range of co-curricular subjects and activities evolve every year to accommodate new trends and interests. This ‘have a go’ attitude is infectious and filters down from the upper year groups, which means that girls have the confidence to take risks. Heathfield is a safe place to try new things. Girls learn where their strengths and challenges lay and are enabled to improve on both.
We are focused on developing skilled individuals imbued with inner confidence, tenacity, and a passion for life.
I have high expectations for the academic outcomes of all our pupils, and they continue their journeys to top universities, art colleges, drama and music schools and career pathways both in the UK and abroad.
I believe the character of Heathfield is something you can only really feel when you visit and meet our pupils and staff. I would be delighted to welcome you to Heathfield very soon so that you may discover Heathfield and the many opportunities for yourselves.

What they’re saying about Heathfield
“A big thank you to everyone at Heathfield for making my daughter's first month boarding at Heathfield such a success. She has a home from home that she loves. When we drop her back on Sundays she says "I will miss you but I'm excited to be going back" and off she goes with confidence and a skip in her step down the corridor towards Bronte Boarding House. A happy girl is a happy mummy!”NEW 2020 FORM I PARENT
