Bursaries

All applications for bursaries are considered on the basis of individual circumstances and are means-tested.

Entrance Bursaries are for new applicants to the School for any year group. Every applicant must meet the School’s admission criteria. Parents must have registered their daughter and paid the registration fee. Parents must be domiciled in the UK.

Entrance Bursaries are typically awarded between 10% and 50% of tuition and boarding fees, although larger bursaries of up to 100% are sometimes offered, depending on the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants. The costs of all “Extras” must be paid in full by the pupil’s parents.

On account of the limited funds available to the School, not every eligible application for a bursary will be successful. Bursaries can be applied for in addition to a scholarship or on their own.

Applications for financial support are also considered for pupils already at Heathfield, where there is a change of family circumstance, or sudden and unforeseen need leading to financial difficulty.

Application forms are available from the Bursar, Mrs Rachel Frier – bursar@heathfieldschool.net

Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Bursar to discuss matters in confidence so she can assist and guide your application.

The deadline for submission of the completed Bursary application form and supporting paperwork is 15 October in the year prior to anticipated entry.
