We are very pleased to announce that Franny (LVI) has got through to the next round of ARTiculation! On Monday January 30 Franny presented her talk at Lord Wandsworth College in the regional heat of ARTiculation. The adjudicator Professor Simon Olding commended Franny’s ‘poignant choice and discussion of Ophelia’. He thought that ‘the symbolism was well interrogated and the significance of the artist model well discussed’. He also enjoyed the comparison between Millais’ work and other depictions of Ophelia.
