Heathfield students celebrate A Level success in diverse range of subjects

From Biomedical Sciences to Fine Art – sixth formers impress across the board.

EIGHT in ten girls (87%) at leading independent girls’ school Heathfield in Ascot achieved all A*-C grades in their A Level exams this summer, with more than half gaining all A*-B grades.

All subjects in the school have cause for celebration since students have achieved in both academic and vocational subjects, gaining places at a diverse range of prestigious destinations – from leading Russell Group universities such as Edinburgh, Exeter, Newcastle and Warwick to acclaimed arts and drama colleges RADA and Central St Martins.

This year’s cohort of sixth formers was the first to take the reformed, new format, linear A Levels introduced by the government in a bid to make A Levels tougher and a better preparation for university.
