Co-education
Small School
Big Opportunities
Heathfield School is proud of its rich heritage and reputation, shaped and earned through teaching generations of students since 1899. In this time the school has progressed and developed in order to best provide for its students, demonstrated by the investment in outstanding facilities, opening up to day students and part-time boarders, and more recently prioritising innovation in light of changing norms and workplaces. We recognise that all schools must evolve to reflect a context and society in flux, ensuring that they adapt to meet the needs of their students and families as they seek the very best for their children.
We are delighted, therefore, to share that the next stage in Heathfield’s journey is the transition to become fully co-educational. In response to strong demand, Heathfield is opening up its exceptional provision for girls and boys to be inspired alongside one another, to make the most of Heathfield’s ‘small school, big opportunities’ identity in a co-educational setting.
We understand the importance of choice for families as they consider their child’s education, one which will enable them to flourish and fulfil their potential. Heathfield is crystal clear on its ethos and offering, confident in the approach that has empowered so many cohorts of students to thrive. Our culture and community are at the heart of this, with a wonderfully supportive and inclusive environment inspiring students in their various passions and pursuits of excellence. We are unashamedly ambitious for each of our students, starting in the classroom but also aspiring to a breadth and depth of development. Our students are the very best adverts and advocates for Heathfield, and we strongly encourage interested families to come visit and see for themselves.
We trust that the brochure below will give greater insight into Heathfield’s move to co-education, providing information and opportunities to learn and investigate further. It is with great excitement that we set this course for Heathfield’s future, also benefitting from greater stability and resources than ever before as part of the Mill Hill Education Group. We look forward to welcoming boys and girls who are seeking excellence in a co-educational context, and you are warmly invited to get in touch to explore if Heathfield is right for you.
