Bungalow Independence Cooking

Sixth Form Accommodation

Girls in the Upper VI live in Wyatt House, affectionately known by them as ‘the bungalow’. They each have their own spacious study bedroom with its own network connection.

Entering the bungalow brings with it independence.  The girls learn how to cater for themselves for breakfast and supper, (lunch during the week is taken in main school) and they have to find time during their busy study schedule to launder their own clothes.

The Upper VI Housemistresses provide the basic foods and ingredients for the girls to make wholesome meals and the kitchens are a hive of activity from early evening with girls preparing supper for themselves or a group of friends. There are two kitchens in the bungalow and each one contains a fridge, freezer, cooker and dishwasher. There is also a utility room that houses washing machines and tumble dryers.
