LAMDA and Music Concert

By 26/06/2015 No Comments

The Heathfield orchestra opened the concert with the traditional Scottish tune, Loch Lomond. Some outstanding individual performances include Flavia’s (Form II) energetic and precise street dance, Hum (Form II) on the clarinet and Charlotte (Form III) who sang I Can Hear the Bells from Annie. The audience was treated to three other dance items ranging from ballet to lyrical jazz while the Brass Quintet played The Entertainer by Scott Joplin. Special mentions go to Form I and the Staff Choir who jointly performed I Believe in Springtime by John Rutter and the joint staff and student drama performance of Daisy Pulls It Off by Denice Deegan. Mr Snow was hilarious with his acting and accordion skills! The concert ended on a high with the band playing Fireflies by Owl City with the audience joining in to sing while waving their flash phones and hands in the air.
