Our KS3 cast are getting ready to take on one of the greatest love stories ever told as part of the Coram Shakespeare Schools Festival!
Students recently took part in an exciting in-school workshop with a professional theatre maker, who worked with the cast to develop some essential performance skills ahead of their big night at the South Hill Park Arts Centre.
The workshop was packed with practical tips and challenges, helping the students explore projection, breath control and how to keep the stage alive. They were encouraged to think about how they use their voices, bodies and energy to communicate with an audience — and they certainly rose to the challenge!
Now the cast are busy putting all of these new skills into practice as they continue to prepare their very own 30-minute version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
We can’t wait to share their performance with an audience on Tuesday 10th November.
Please come along and support our fantastic cast! Tickets are available here:
