Choral Collaboration with Sunningdale School

By 08/05/2014 No Comments

Upon arrival at 3.45pm, we were ushered into their old library, which has now been turned into a performing space, for a rehearsal. Our young girls were at first rather shy to meet the boys but soon after rehearsal we saw some girls already mixing and chatting with boys. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful pizza supper before the concert started at 7pm. Included in the joint choral music performed were How Can I Keep From Singing by Lowry, Gaudent in Coelis by Richard Dering, Linden Lea by Vaughan Williams, Don’t Stop Me now by Freddie Mercury and Cantemos a Maria. On top of that, the Sunningdale School Chapel Choir also performed Lord, Make Me an Instrument by Willcocks and the Heathfield School Junior Choir sang A Whole New World from Aladdin. It was a wonderful evening well spent and a fabulous opportunity for the girls.
