The ARTiculation Prize has been designed to give young people a forum in which they are able to express their ideas on art. ARTiculation gives opportunities for young people to gain work experience in arts organisations and to talk to professionals about career pathways. Students use ARTicualtion to support their A Levels, Personal Statements, CV, EPQ Awards, Arts Awards and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

The ARTiculation heat at Heathfield was adjudicated by Alan Kluckow, whose fine art gallery in Sunningdale promotes contemporary British and international artists. Three Lower Sixth History of Art students entered the competition and spoke about their chosen art:

Tansy: J W Waterhouse’s Hylas and the Nymphs 1896
Harriet: Alexander Calder Lobster Trap and Fish Tail 1939
Amber: Tony Cragg Group 2012

Congratulations to Tansy who will now be speaking at the South East Regional Final.
