Heathfield is proud to recognise the outstanding international achievements of Wendy Reynolds, whose expertise in Lacrosse officiating continues to place her among the leading figures in the global game.

Wendy has recently been appointed Lead Educator for the Division II World Lacrosse Championships, to be held in Wroclaw, Poland in July. In this prestigious role, she will oversee the development and performance of all 19 tournament umpires and six educator officials throughout the competition. Working alongside an American colleague, Wendy will effectively lead the officiating operation for the entire championship.

Her responsibilities include delivering pre-event educational workshops, ensuring consistency in officiating standards across all matches, and providing ongoing mentoring and evaluation during the tournament itself. The appointment reflects not only her exceptional technical knowledge of the sport, but also the respect she commands internationally within the Lacrosse community.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, Wendy has also been selected as an educator for the Division I World Championships in Tokyo, Japan over the summer. At this elite level of international competition, she will evaluate match performances, mentor umpires and contribute to maintaining the highest officiating standards in the sport.

These appointments represent years of dedication, professionalism and success on the international stage. At Heathfield, we are incredibly fortunate to have a teacher whose influence extends far beyond the classroom and playing field. Wendy’s global experience enriches the sporting life of Heathfield enormously, bringing world-class insight, leadership and inspiration directly to our students.
