…held for the first time at Westcroft Park Polo Club in Chobham.
The tournament attracted 14 teams from 10 different schools fielding all-girl players. The chukkas were outstanding with all play flowing and some extremely professional play especially from the 4 teams in the open division. Heathfield and St George’s had a breathtaking chukka in the fifth of the day. After 21 ’round robin’ chukkas, St George’s took the victory in the open, with Heathfield coming second. Heathfield came third in both the intermediate sectional and the novice groups. RJ Polo and Polo Times made sure all girls were rewarded with prizes at the end of play. Well done to all the girls, who played like professionals!
