Heathfield’s Partnership with the UAL

Heathfield is currently the only school in the UK to have a formal progression partnership with the internationally renowned London College of Fashion, part of the University of the Arts London (UAL).

Heathfield was approached to become a progression partner after Angela Drisdale-Gordon, Further Education Co-ordinator at the London College of Fashion, attended and adjudicated at the 2013 Heathfield Fashion Show and was very impressed with the level of work on display.

The partnerships are normally reserved for outstanding Further Education arts institutions.

The partnership was officially launched at the 2014 Heathfield Fashion Show by Angela and the previous Headmistress Jo Heywood. Sixth Formers studying an Art subject at Heathfield are now guaranteed an interview at the LCF after application to one of its many degree courses and will also receive expert help, advice and support on their portfolios while they are studying for A-Levels at Heathfield.

This partnership is exclusive to LCF only.
